Well, after 65 years of becoming the world's superpower the US has proven it cannot handle the role of a superpower. First, the US decided to make the USSR its mortal enemy despite the fact it was its WW2 ally. Then the US decided to have two bloody wars with Asian communist countries only to later make friend with China, the biggest communist country in Asia.
The argument being that it'd be better to try to change China by having diplomatic and business deals with it, but for some reason the US didn't see any need to do the same with the USSR.
The US also decided to use the UN to force the creation of Israel in Palestine and that way enfuriate the entire region which supplies oil to the US! And now that these same people want to live in Democracies the US doesn't know who to support, doesn't know who it should be attacking and who it shouldn't be attacking.
A day before all hell broke lose in Mubarak's Egypt the US was saying "Don't worry about it, Egypt is a very stable country" and then it turns around and stabs Mubarak in the back as if nothing happened during the 30 years the guy ruled Egypt.
The US doesn't want international law to apply to itself but it will go to war to force other countries to abide by the UN. The US is like a teenager who doesn't want to go by the rules, doesn't know how to be responsible, doesn't care to be a team player and at the same time pretend its better than the rest of the world.
And now look what a mess the US is making of itself because it has never come to terms with the issue of immigration and minorities in the country.
The Civil War is being fought all over again all for the sake of "state rights".
The US is too big for its own good. It was never able to manage itself as a superpower or even as a country.
Let the Tea Party and the Republicans tear the US apart for its own good. The world will be a much better place without it.
